About me

I am Research Professor with the Fund for Scientific Research (FRS-FNRS), at the University of Mons, Belgium, in the School of Sociology and Anthropology. I have researched the evolving practice of conservation through the study of rewilding, the expanding movement for granting rights to nature, as well as ethical and spatial issues in human-environment interactions. My latest books are Understanding the Rights of Nature: A Critical Introduction and Ecocene Politics, both available open access.
